James
A. Dingus, Jr., CPA
Founder April 29, 1920 – March 30, 2020
Mr. Dingus founded our practice in
1954 as a sole proprietorship. Despite the difficult early years,
he persevered, always providing his growing client mix with high
quality services. The practice grew through an increasing number
of referrals, until a full-time person was employed in 1971. He
had initiated an early computerized system in 1968, a system that
has been refined over the years to accommodate processing of more
complex entities.
He served on several Cleveland area
Boards of Trustees, primarily in the Cultural Field, and
contributed widely to their support.
He continued to remain
active in the firm until the age of 96 and died 30 days before his
100th birthday. Mr. Dingus received his BBA in
Accounting from Western Reserve University..
